Spreads, Commissions, and Leverages
Markets.com offers fixed spreads on their forex pairs. This is different than most competitors who usually offer fixed and floating spreads for traders. On their website Markets.com lists that they have spreads as low as 2.0 pips for EUR/USD and 3.0 pips for the offerings on MT4 platform. Traders and some other sources have reported 3.0 pips in EUR/USD, so do your proper research before making your move.
Commissions are figured into the price of the fixed spreads so you will not have any extra costs for opening positions.
Leverages are maxed out at 300:1 at Markets.com. This number applies to all non-EU citizen. According to the rules of ESMA, EU citizens can only be offered a maximum of 30:1 leverage on major currencies and 20:1 for trades involving gold, major indices and exotic forex pairs.
